Ygnacio Valley Christian School is a Christian School serving Preschool through 8th Grade, located in the San Francisco Bay Area suburb of Concord. We currently have approximately 120 students and are affiliated with the ACSI.  Some quick facts:

• Solid Core Curriculum taught with Biblical integration of Truth
• Weekly chapel with the whole school
• Day Care (before and after school)
• Choir (performs at school functions) offered 3rd through 5th grade.
• Band (Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced) offered to 4th grade and up.
• Computers (Typing, Word Processing,and the use of search engines in the writing of papers) offered to 5th grade and up.
• Algebra I is offered to our 8th Grade
• Home School Partnership is available.

about Christian Schooling
There are many different ways to offer what is called a Christian education. YVCS believes that it is not sufficient to have Christians teach information to our children in a safe environment. We believe that each staff member must have a vibrant personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

We must actively live out this relationship in such a way that at every opportunity we clearly show the connection of Christ and the Bible to each subject. We believe that Christ is the author of each subject that we study and the Bible reveals insight into those subjects. We strive fully to integrate our beliefs and talents to teach our students to fully appreciate what God has provided to us in our world.
