“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” –I Corinthians 6:19-20
We encourage our students to run and play during recess and PE (physical education).
Kindergartners learn how their bodies move and work. We teach them fundamentals like catching and throwing as they enjoy many games together.
First and second graders begin learning the basics of how to play sports like as soccer, basketball, baseball and volleyball. We focus on the importance of following instructions and the greater challenge of winning the Lord's way.
Third, fourth, and fifth graders focus on good sportsmanship. We teach them that it is okay to be competitive. We also teach them how to follow the rules of each sport in more detail.
Our Servant Leadership Academy students continue to learn the importance of staying healthy. We do this through exercise, running and enjoying activity through sports.
We hope all students will enjoy the experience of learning new exercise activities and sports throughout the school year.
