Come out for the 2016 Ygnacio Valley Christian School’s 5K and Family Fun Fest on Saturday, May 14th, 2016. The 5K race starts at 9 a.m. The Family Fun Fest starts at 9 a.m. and lasts until 2:00 p.m.

(Depending on the number of participants.) Behind the start line, there will be signs that indicate race pace. Participants can line up according to their goal race pace.
Start time for wheelchairs (motorized and non-motorized) is 9:00 a.m. Runners will follow at 9:05. If you want to run with a stroller (children in strollers are free), please allow other participants to go ahead of you.
There will be 3 minutes between corral starts to maintain a safe, fast and fun course for all participants.

Course Description: The Ygnacio Valley Christian School’s 5K will be held around the campus of the school in the beautiful city of Concord community. The race will begin at 4977 Concord Blvd. at Concord Bible Church. The route goes through part of the community passing Crossroads Covenant Church and Myrtle Drive. The finish will lead you back through Ayers Road to Concord Bible Church, where the Family Fun Fest will be in full swing!
Water Stations: There will be two water stations along the 5K course. For your safety, these water stations will have direct contact with the main Medical Tent. Water Station One is directly after mile one and Water Station Two is directly after mile two.
FAMILY FUN FEST
Come and enjoy the after-race festivities at the Family Fun Fest. Children participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a multitude of child friendly games and win cool prizes! This is not your average after-race fest. The Family Fun Fest will be filled with many non-profits, businesses and organizations. The Family Fun Fest includes:

If you are a vendor or know of a vendor who would like to support our event with a booth on-site the day of the event, please contact us here or download the vendor application here. We do offer a limited number of vendor spaces on a first come, first serve basis. A retail vendor or a service vendor may apply, but all vendors are asked to donate an item for the prize raffle. If you are interested in renting one of these spaces or know a business who would, see attached application form or contact the office.
As a 5K participant you are encouraged to raise $50 or more towards your race entry fee: Register here. You may also support the participants in this event by making an online gift towards this event – make sure to reference the donation for 2016 Family 5K & FunFest.
