Who We Are

CURRICULUM
YVCS is very pleased to have a very unique computer offering. We have developed a multi-year program that teaches the students the computer basics with the cornerstone being touch typing.

Each application that we use has been chosen carefully. Each is an industry standard. Each application is explored with a variety of real-world projects. During the 4 years that our students have dedicated time toward computer science they progress through touch typing, Microsoft Office Professional, Adobe Creative Suite, Photography and the use of computers when making a presentation.

We maintain a full array of current equipment which frees the students to hone their skills and encourages them to explore and enjoy the beauty of God's creation.

Steve has been at YVCS 14 years.  He has worked with Christian Service Brigade and Sequoia Brigade Camp for 17+ years and has served on its board for the last 13 years.  Steve enjoys gardening and photography, but his greatest joy comes from encouraging and equipping others to realize more potential than they think is possible.
